The apex body of the pen pushing profession in Nigeria
of Journalists has nominated the Ondo State
as the beneficiary of its 2011 Governor of the year award.
According to a statement announcing the caring heart governor as the body’s
choice for the prestigious award and signed by the National Secretary of the
body, Shuaibu Usman Leman, the nomination was arrived at after a careful
consideration of governor Mimiko’s contributions to the development of the
nation in the past year.
The award is expected to be conferred on the Sunshine state’s helmsman in
December.
