Ex-Militants Warn Against Attack On Oil Pipelines

Ex-Militant Leaders in Bayelsa State at the weekend warned aggrieved militants operating under the third phase of the amnesty against carrying out the threat to commence bomb attack on oil installations and Pipeline in the Niger Delta.

They said that they would point out those involved and assist the Joint Military Task Force (JTF) to arrest them.

The Ex-militant leaders, through Former Member of the Upper Senate of the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND), Comrade Eris Paul popularly known as Commander Ogunboss, noted that the federal government had, through the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) provided opportunity to the ex-agitators to protect the oil piplines and provided jobs for the over 3,000 youths of the oil bearing communities of the state
