Chevron, NCF to establish conservation centre in Niger Delta

Prof. Emmanuel Obot, Executive Director, Nigerian Conservation Foundation (NCF), on Thursday said that Chevron Nigeria had promised to support the foundation in establishing a conservation centre in the Niger Delta.

Speaking in Lagos at a news conference to mark the 21st anniversary of the Lekki Conservation Centre (LCC), Obot said that feasibility studies were being carried out in suitable communities for the project in Delta State.

According to the NCF boss, the foundation had embarked on survey in Ethiope River, Uhronigbe and Ekun Communities to ascertain the suitable locations for the project
