The Governorship seat in Rivers State is divinely instituted and is not a product of cabals, Governor Chibuike Amaechi has said.
Rt Hon Amaechi made the assertion in Port Harcourt, yesterday during an inter-denominational thanksgiving service to commemorate the October 25th Supreme Court Judgment that brought his administration to power in 2007.
Amaechi argued that since the administration of Chief Rufus Ada-George, God had always played supernatural role to determine who governs the state, saying, “the governorship of Rivers State is 80- 90 percent determined by God”.
He explained that those who failed to see the finger of God in who led the state should use the court judgement as a reference point.
