Ondo gov’s wife charged govts on N/Delta communities development

The wife of the ondo State governor, Mrs Oluwakemi Mimiko has tasked governments at all levels to solve the challenges facing the people in the Niger Delta communities by initiating programmes that would enhance the social and economic life of women in the region.

The governors’ wife who said this during her maiden visit and interaction with women in Ilaje Local Government Area of the state, also charged women in the region to be actively involved in politics to enable them have good representation in government.

Mrs Mimiko noted that womenfolk is an instrument of political change and major factors in the nations economy which, deserved government’s attention and should be properly integrated into the politics of the Niger Delta region because of their political and economic value.
