HUNDREDS of irate Niger Delta youths have protested against the approach of the Secretary to the Federal Government (SGF), Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, towards the running of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).
The youths, led by the Secretary of the Watchdog of the Niger Delta, Samuel Ebiye and the President of Niger Delta Peace Movement, John Walter, said they would rather prefer President Goodluck Jonathan to withdraw authority over the commission from the SGF and create the office of a Special Assistant on NDDC matter to oversee the affairs of the commission till a new board is duly constituted.
