The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) and the Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce, Mines and Agriculture ( PHACCIMA) are to partner on youths and women empowerment programme, designed to address issues of unemployment and poverty in the Niger Delta region.
Also, 82 out of the 150 successful Niger Delta youths, who were trained by the NDDC on solar energy installation and maintenance have received international certification, putting them at par with their colleagues in other countries of the world.
