‘How to end Niger Delta woes’

Immediate past deputy governor of Akwa Ibom State, Patrick Akpan Ekpotu has spelt out ways to permanently end the woes of the people of the Niger Delta. He said that adequate attention, a sense of belonging and joint control of the resources derived from the area would help end the crisis.

Ekpotu offered the way of the region’s crisis in his book Lifting the Perils. In its review, former President of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) Prof. Olu Obafemi said Ekpotu offered critical discourse on the search for an enduring resolution of the Niger Delta warfare and the security.
