Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) in Rivers State has called on the federal government to take precaution in the choice of new appointees for the board and management of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), if the commission must succeed.

This is as a group, the Niger Delta Coalition Against Violence (NDCAV) called on President Goodluck Jonathan to probe the sacked board and management of the NDDC.

In an exclusive chat with LEADERSHIP WEEKEND in Port Harcourt, NDCAV president, Comrade Lekia Christian said it is only a probe that will determine if  the issue of fraud raised against the sacked officials is true or not.
