WARRI- Former chairman of Traditional Rulers of Oil Minerals Producing Communities of Nigeria, TROMPCON, HRM, Pere Charles Ayemi-Botu, Niger-Delta Survival Synergy, NDSS, and Ijaw Progressive Agenda for Change have asked the Federal Government to direct security agencies to immediately bring to book all those involved in fraud in the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC.

Pere Ayemi-Botu, coordinator of NDSS, Okiroro Iki-Ebieroma and president of IPAC, Mr. Money Goddey said these  in separate statements, weekend.

The royal father, who noted that not all the staff of the commission were corrupt, urged the Federal Government to fish out the bad eggs and deal with them.

He said: “If the dissolution of NDDC by Mr. President was based on the report of the Mr. Steve Oronsaye committee, it then amount to throwing  away the baby with the bath water. It is glaring that the former Managing Director unilaterally ran the affairs of NDDC.

He said: “To open an off- shore account is a monumental fraud and litmus test for Mr. President’s crusade to wipe out corruption in high places. We, however, thought the chaff should be removed from the grains, instead of the entire sack. The innocent should be returned in the new board that would be reconstituted as promised.”
