UN, Dead Organisation -- Dokubo
Port Harcourt — A Niger Delta activist, Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo Asari has described the recent bomb blast at the United Nation (UN) building in Abuja as a call by the people for a change from an imposed western values and a consequence of alleged native actions of the UN in some African countries.

He said it is hightime Nigerians gained freedom from the impositions by UN which has lingered for a long time.

Dokubo Asari stated this yesterday in an interview with newsmen in Port Harcourt at the opening of a national constitutional dialogue with eminent Nigerians organized by a Non Governmental Organization, Project Nigeria in Port Harcourt. "These are the symptoms of imposition. Before the overthrow of the various nations in Nigeria by Britain, the Kanem Borno Empire was an Islamic state; the Othman Caliphet was an Islamic state. You cannot impose western values on the people. The people say we want to live the way we want; and they have a right to do that. As far as I am concerned, if you refuse to allow them be, when they are pushed to the wall, when they are frustrated, they would react.
