Niger Delta: FG to prosecute erring amnesty delegates, as 142 off abroad for training

Lagos (WorldStage Newsonline)-- Following the recent deportation of six Niger Delta youths from Sri Lankra over various misconducts including extortion, the Federal Government of Nigeria said on Thursday that it will continue to facilitate the extradition and prosecution of any delegate under the amnesty programme for the ex-militants, who misbehaved and tarnished the country's name abroad.

The government said the actions of the six delegates made it difficult for the amnesty office to get other delegates to procure visas for training abroad.
