Against the background of the on-going internal squabbles within the top echelon of the Niger Delta Development Commission, royal fathers in the region, under the aegis of Association of Traditional Rulers of Oil Mineral Producing Communities of Nigeria, have advised President Goodluck Jonathan not to contemplate scrapping the commission or merging it with the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs.
