Tonye Cole dropped from ministerial list

An official in the Office of the Senate President, who does not want his name published, has confirmed that Tonye Cole, the Managing Director of Sahara Group, whose name was included in the second batch of ministerial nominees, has been dropped.

It is believed that politicians from his native Rivers State had criticized his inclusion and have been campaigning for a replacement. The source also revealed that Ezebunwo Wike, the Chief of Staff to Governor Chibuike Amaechi of Rivers State, has been used to replace Cole.
