Nigeria, Germany plan bi-national commission

NIGERIA and Germany are to establish a bi-national commission, which will drive the new relationship plan between both countries.

Visiting German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, who spoke at a press conference after bilateral talks between him and President Goodluck Jonathan at the Presidential Villa Abuja, characterised the talks, as “extensive exchange.” “We are intensifying the relationship between Nigeria and Germany. We have tasked our foreign ministers on this. Towards this, we have agreed to establish a bi-national commission,” she said.

The German leader listed areas of cooperation to include energy, training, education and security.
