Financial and technical support of the international community has been identified as critical to sustaining the relative peace in the Niger Delta region of the country.
The plea was coming on the wake of the delay by the British High Commission in issuing traveling visas to ex-militants due to the United Kingdom
The Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta and Coordinator of the Niger Delta Amnesty Programme, Hon. Kingsley Kuku said in addition, oil gas multinationals and governments must equally give practical backing to the Amnesty Programme of the Federal Government.
