Former U.S. Envoy Calls for Diaspora Investment Fund for Country

A former United States Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. Howard Jetter, has called for the establishment of the Nigerian Diaspora Investment Trust Fund as a medium by which Nigerian-Americans could invest in the Nigerian stock market.

Ambassador Jetter who made this call in Chicago during the annual convention of the Nigerians in Diaspora Organisation (NIDO) noted that the establishment of this Trust Fund should be made a top priority for the organisation.
