Edo Inaugurates Committee on SMEs

A seven-member committee on Small and Medium Scale Industries was on Monday inaugurated by Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State with a charge to encourage small and medium scale entrepreneurs to grow and contribute to the economy of the state.

Besides, Oshiomhole said the committee is to help government with ideas on how to mobilize small and medium scale entrepreneurs to grow and strengthen the state economy.

He noted that government was confronted with the challenges of how to encourage citizens to become self-employed and how to assist small and medium scale entrepreneurs to assess capital finance business ideas.
