Maiduguri — The Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) Air Chief Marshal Oluseyi Petrin has said that the Armed Forces and the Joint Task Force has no business entering into dialogue with the Yusufiya sect popularly known as Boko Haram contending that they are purely in Maiduguri to restore law and order which has eluded the state for some time.

This is as he disclosed that five members of the task force were being tried for alleged negative acts, vowing that any of them found guilty of allegations leveled against them would be made to face the music. He did not, however, reveal the punishment that would be meted out to such person(s).
