Jonathan, Governors Parley Over Ministerial Nominees
President Goodluck Jonathan Tuesday held closed door meetings with some governors at the Presidential Villa on what sources said was an apparent disagreement over the choice of ministerial appointees in the soon-to-be-formed cabinet.
THISDAY was informed by an inside source that some of the governors were in the Villa to protest the choice of nominees from their states, which is an indication that some names may have been taken from outside those submitted by the states.
It was however not confirmed if all the governors that were in the Presidential Villa had issues with the ministerial nominees, but one of such state chief executive from the North-central zone was said to have been there for that purpose.
