Former Delta state first lady Theresa Ibori appeared before the
Southwark Crown Court
today in London and confessed to spending millions of pounds sterling stolen from Delta state on choice properties in the Westover area of London
She testified that the properties were purchased in her name with the stolen funds.
The fallen first lady was ordered to refund £5.175 million in one year. If the money is not returned, she must serve an extra 10 years in prison.
