Nigeria’s military has arrested more than 150 suspects in the ambush on a military patrol team by gunmen believed to be members of Boko Haram, army spokesman Lieutenant Abdullahi Muhammad said May 17, AFP reported. Muhammad said an army patrol team came under attack in Gwange district of Maiduguri on the night of May 15, which led to a shootout that lasted for 30 minutes. He did not provide any details about casualties. He said the suspects were being screened and those not implicated in the attack would be freed.
