NGO seeks measures to prevent conflicts

Dr. Ayokunle Fagbemi, Executive Director, Centre for Peace Building and Socio-Economic Resources  Development (CPSERD) 　has called for 　measures to prevent conflicts in the country.

Fagbemi  made the call on yesterday in Abuja at a roundtable which had as theme: " 　Nigerian Conflict Cycles: A focus on the Plateau and Niger Delta."

The forum was organised by the CPSERD, an NGO, in collaboration with the U.K-based Conciliation Resources.

" The background to this initiative is the continued reoccurrence and the cyclical nature of conflicts in Nigeria which remains a major challenge and source of concern requiring deep interrogation.
