FG not aware Dokubo-Asari has accepted amnesty –Kuku

Presidential Adviser on Niger Delta and Chairman of the Presidential Amnesty Office, Hon. Kingsley Kuku, has a difficult assignment cut out for him. Indeed, his office is not one to be envied, viewed against the backdrop of his job function. Having to contend, virtually on a daily basis, with former armed militants and their queer mannerism and idiosyncrasies, is not a tea party.

But, so far, he has acquitted himself very well. You can see through the passion and determination he has brought to bear on this challenging assignment. “…the job has not been easy. It is not easy to bring up the level of our brothers and sisters, talking about that kind of background you would need to make them pass through a process of demobilization. When they come out, you need to make them face the challenge of reintegration, which itself is very difficult. It is quite enormous a responsibility,” the young presidential aide, popularly known as KK, says.
