Rivers ACN Chairman Backs Governor Amaechi

Chairman of Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, in Rivers State, Uche Okwukwu, has abandoned his party’s candidate in the 26 April governorship poll, asking people to cast their votes for Governor Chibuike Amaechi of the PDP.

It is not yet clear what must have led to the sudden U-turn by Uche Okwukwu, the ACN chairman.

P.M.NEWS, however, learnt that the ACN in the state may have collapsed as it has not made any significant showing in the first two elections, the National Assembly and the Presidential elections.
