At least 8 persons including a wanted notorious chieftain of the Boko Haram sect have been arrested by the police in northern Nigeria's Kaduna State over last Friday's bomb explosion that rocked the state.
State commissioner of police John Haruna disclosed this at a news conference on Saturday in Kaduna
He told reporters that the police also recovered from the scene of the bomb blast the corpse of one of the suspects, Ismail Ibrahim who was killed in the explosion in addition to eight sophisticated and locally made rifles and pistols and a flag of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC).
