Nigeria: Sekibo No Threat to my Ambition -Amaechi

ROTIMI AMAECHI is one of the governors, whose name would not be easily forgotten in the Nigerian political firmament. The manner he got to his present office of Governor of Rivers State, would remain one of the most enduring references on the nation's legal system. And from the look of things, the governor intends to stretch this further by etching his name across the pages of history in ways more than the landmark legal case that made him governor. In this interview with reporters, including Group Politics Editor, SUNNY IGBOANUGO, he explains this passion, rooted in growing his state in all spheres and making it a model in Nigeria. He speaks on the day he took his campaign to the domain of one of his major opponents, Senator Abiye Sekibo of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), in Okrika. Excerpts:
