…Condemns use of military for the election
Barely 24 hours to the first round of general elections former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mallam Nasir El-Rufai has faulted a statement credited to the National Security Adviser (NSA), Gen. Owoye Azazi that voters should not stay behind after casting their votes describing it as a huge joke.
Addressing newsmen on behalf of the Good Governance Group (3G) in Abuja
yesterday, the former FCT Minister stressed that NSA cannot stop voters from
monitoring their votes saying “ he does not set the rule for election.”
