278 corps members from Ondo evacuated from the North

Worried by the recent violence that followed the presidential election in the some northern states, the Ondo State government ordered the evacuation of about 276 corps members serving the country under the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in the northern states

Aside from the corps members, about 150 natives of the state will also be evacuated from five northern states. The evacuation, which is being carried out by the Emergency Management Agency (EMA) in the deputy governor’s office has begun the exercise over the weekend

The agency had since sent its officials to evacuate about 400 natives of the state scattered across the core northern states.
