A VIOLENT clash between supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) has left two people dead in Bauchi State .
Twenty houses and five cars were also torched in the clash which occurred in Katanga Warji, headquarters of Warji Local Government Area of the North-East state.
All the affected buildings and vehicles belong to chieftains of the two parties.
It is believed that the two people killed were supporters of PDP candidates.

Chief Magistrates Court in Akure, on Monday, the Ondo State Police Command has declared five persons wanted in connection with the recent political violence at Ode-Irele, in Irele Local Government Area.

Chief Magistrate S. Akinrinola issued a bench warrant for the arrest of the accused persons, Odunayo Ikujuni, Bayode Segun, Adewale Akinnubi, James Omojuwa and Akinde Akinyemi who have been standing trial for threatening public peace and alleged conspiracy to commit felony at Ode-Irele during a political rally.
The warrant, which the police is acting upon, was issued by the trial Chief Magistrate when the accused persons, who had earlier been granted bail by the same court, refused to show up for trial at the hearing of their case on Monday.
According to enrolment of order, upon which the charge preferred against the accused persons during their arraignment were based, they were accused to have conspired together to commit felony on March 12, 2011 at Ojomu round about, Ode-Irele.
The charge read that they thereby committed an offence contrary to and punishable under section 6 (a) (b) of the robbery and fire arms Act. cap R 11 Laws of the federation 2004
The suspects were also accused of conducting themselves in a manner likely to cause the breach of peace by shooting sporadically into the air, and thereby committed an offence contrary to and punishable under section 425 (D) of the criminal code cap 30 VOL II .
They were said to be in possession of one English-made single barrel gun, one live cartridge, five expended empty shell of cartridge and committed an offence contrary to Robbery and Firearms Act Cap R. II law of the federation 2004.
Chief Magistrate Akinrinsola, in his ruling on an oral application made by the state counsel that a bench warrant be issued against the accused persons, expressed dismay that all the accused were absent in court without any medical report presented by their counsel.
He, therefore, ruled that a bench warrant be issued against the accused persons and that their sureties must also show up at the adjournment date. The case was then adjourned to April 6, 2011.
