The policemen were on security duties at the home of the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in Sabon Gari (Magajin Gari) Police Station.
The gunmen were said to have arrived the home of the DPO on Abuja
Eyewitnesses said they shot the two policemen at about 9 p.m.
But police sources in the state denied that the gunmen were members of Boko Haram.
