Minna — National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Niger State Command has arrested a 32-year- old man, Zakariyahu Garba, with two metallic objects suspected to be bomb few kilometres away from the scene of the last explosion in Suleja last Thursday.
The arrest is coming barely 24 hours after the blast that claimed about 10 lives at Government Secondary School , Suleja, shortly after the closing of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) senatorial rally for the re-election campaign of Senator Dahiru Awaisu Kuta representing Niger-East (Zone 'B').
While the state Governor, Dr. Mu'azu Babangida Aliyu and other dignitaries that graced the occasion escaped unhurt, about 10 people, who had gathered at the event including petty traders hawking their wares around the arena lost their lives and over 20 others sustained injuries.
