Kaduna — Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, on Thursday accused the Northern leaders of being responsible for the endemic poverty in the region, even as he told them to forget their pursuit of producing the country's President in April.
Sansui spoke in the same event where Vice President Namadi Sambo and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole, disagreed over whether Nigeria needs just 'goodluck' to achieve the socio-economic development of the country in its policies and programmes for the country.
According to Sanusi the leaders are only interested in the welfare of the region when it is time for election or sharing of appointments as ordinarily they do not care for the common man, adding that is why they abandoned the economic summit for their campaigns.
