Warri — Commander, Joint Task Force (JTF), Major General Johnson Ochoga, on Friday admitted that it is difficult to unmask the barons behind the brazen oil theft in the Niger Delta region.
The JTF boss stated this while fielding questions from reporters after being conducted round the Alele waterside, scene of illegal refining depot, where the military outfit impounded 198 drums of substances, equivalent to 79, 200 litres of illegally refined petroleum products in Warri South Council of Delta State.
Ochoga who was accompanied on the inspection visit by top military personnel including Commander, NNS Delta, Commodore Henry Babalola, said that because the barons were not on the field, it would be a Herculean task apprehending them.
