Nigeria: Committee Insists On Full Implementation of Niger Delta Report

THE Technical Committee on the Niger Delta (TCND) has insisted on holistic implementation of report it submitted to the Federal Government two years ago on a credible road map towards sustainable resolution of the region's problems.

At a reconvened meeting of members to assess implementation of the report in Abuja, TCND chairman, Ledum Mitee said despite its general acceptability and acknowledgement as instrumental to ending the age-long crisis in the region, the Federal Government has not given the report the treatment it deserved.
