The group which had been operating clandestinely with the imprint of the state government, had allegedly been issued with fake identity cards, and would be integrated into the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) workforce for the elections.
Already, their names have been fed into the system, purportedly for supervisory roles. The bubble burst on the devious scheme, when some of those who could not be accommodated, cried foul.
In a carefully concealed plot, that involved many of the public office holders, serving members of the House of Representatives contributed about 24 to the scheme, while senators were said to have raised as many as 50 each.
