Minister of Petroleum and Natural Resources, Mrs. Diezani Alison Madueke has assured the people of Bayelsa State that the plan by the Federal Government to establish one of its three proposed refineries in the state would help boost the development of the state.
The Petroleum Minister who spoke in Yenagoa during the Peoples Democratic Party presidentially rally also disclosed plan to create over 300,000 jobs for the teeming unemployed Nigerian youths by the Federal Government to help reduce unemployment and combat crime rate in the society.
Aside the planned establishment of the three petroleum and petrol-chemical refineries in the country Mrs. Alison-Madueke said the federal government had concluded plan to build two fertilizer plants in the country to boost fertilizer production for farmers.
