Cote d'Ivoire: Parties Invited To AU Summit

The High Level Panel for the Resolution of the Cote d’Ivoire Crisis met in Nouakchott and agreed to invite presidential contenders Alassane Ouattara and Laurent Gbagbo to its next meeting to conclude a Peace and Security Council (PSC) mandate, according to a March 5 African Union (AU) statement. Nigeria’s president will chair the PSC in March and convene an AU summit-level meeting.
