The cell of Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) leader Henry Okah in South Africa was raided by prison guards, during which time they found eight cell phones and chargers, a map and documents, Pretoria News reported Feb. 24. The raid was conducted after the Nigerian government told South Africa that threats to Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan were allegedly made from Okah’s cell. Okah also allegedly made threats to conduct militant attacks during the phone calls.
