Shell builds N19m convenience facility for Alaiyabiagba market

Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company  Limited (SNEPCo) has built a convenience facility for the New Alaiyabiagba Market in Ifelodun Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of Lagos State.

The project was inauguration last week and declared open for use by the public.

In his address at the inauguration of the facility, SNEPCo’s Business Relations Manager, Sir Amaechi Onianwa, said: “In line with our corporate social responsibility (CSR) investments, SNEPCO is committed to contributing to environmental and social activities within Lagos State and the nation as a whole.

“The project was started in 2009 and completed in July 2010 at a cost of N19 million. It consists of two sections, each with 10 toilets cubicles and 10 bathrooms, two changing rooms and two offices. The facility includes a generator house, two water heaters, a 3.5kva generator set, a borehole, a PVC 1000 gallon capacity water tank and a pumping machine.
