Nigeria's NNPC says eyes 90% refinery run rate if there is no sabotage

State-owned Nigerian National Petroleum Corp. Sunday said it hoped to quickly ramp up run rates at its four refineries to about 90%, if the pipelines feeding the plants are free from sabotage.

"I can confirm to you now that all four refineries are working now. However, if the pipelines are not vandalized again, we can ramp up production to between 80% and 90%," NNPC spokesman Levi Ajuonuma told reporters in Lagos.

The refineries located in the Niger Delta areas of Port Harcourt and Warri, and in northern Kaduna, have a combined nameplate capacity of 445,000 b/d.
