Momodu Clinches NCP Presidential Ticket

Lagos — Publisher of Ovation, Chief Dele Momodu, on Wednesday emerged the presidential candidate of the National Conscience Party (NCP).

He was elected at the National Convention of the party where primaries were held for presidential hopefuls in Lagos.

After votes were cast, Momodu polled 169 votes against two other contenders, Atei Beredugo and Martin Onovo who both polled 14 and eight votes respectively.

Voting was conducted through open ballot process involving five delegates from each state of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory.

Reacting, Momodu promised to uplift the standard of living of Nigerians if voted into power, saying the country had enough resources to meet the aspirations of Nigerians.
