Militants On Lokoja Bridge - I Don't Know Them - Kuku

Abuja — SPECIAL Adviser to the President on Niger Delta and National Coordinator of government's Amnesty Programme, Hon. Kingsley Kuku yesterday disowned the claimed ex-militants who barricaded the Murtala Mohammed Bridge along the ever busy Lokoja/Abuja road, pointing out that they were not part of the Amnesty Programme but people on self seeking mission.

Kuku specifically pointed out that those who blocked the Lokoja-Abuja expressway were not part of 26,358 ex-militants who accepted the Amnesty Programme offered by the federal government, stressing that the Amnesty Office had no obligations to them.

The Special Adviser categorically deplored and repudiated the idea of blocking roads by anybody, including the self-serving persons who claimed to have come from Bayelsa State, seeking to press home whatever demand.
